Tory bitch

Everyone and his dog will be posting about this:

The cynical bstds and their puppet May.

Knowing they were a shoe-in on June 8th, they decided they could afford the ire of a large portion of the population – middle-class pensioners, the Brexit portion, and still win, by hitting pensions plus taking away winter fuel allowance – I needed that allowance as it just about has me in the black, without it I’m in an ‘eat or heat’ situation, which is what the bstds want.

Oh and where’s the money going? Benefits cheats and migrants.

An Australian Tory PM once said “life wasn’t meant to be easy”, it was his mantra. Now I met Malcolm Fraser – he’s a western district boy, the rich farmers and he didn’t give a toss about people, just as no Brit pollies do.

But worse than hitting pensioners and cynically playing with loss of seats and still winning, is that it will all be presented as choosing between Brexit OR a comfortable life, when there is absolutely no need for it, the globalist bstds.

At the same time, Corbyn is offering tuition fee relief – don’t write the commie off yet.  That tuition fee relief means a lot to parents with that age kids.

Plus:

That’s it – I’m voting UKIP or independent.

And why does every criminal pollie have to point to someone in the audience when they come out?  What’s with all this pointing *&^&*?

Comment:

So Mother Theresa intends attacking the Pensioners on 3 or more fronts. Taking away their Fuel Allowance, abolishing the Triple Lock and confiscating their homes if they need care. What else does she intend doing to the vulnerable 12 million old age pensioners? Offering them a one-way ticket to Dignitas? [Tom Collins]

Not sure if this is entirely accurate. The Winter fuel payment will be means tested, so if it’s really eat or heat, you should still get the full amount. Of course, we’ve not seen the details yet, but it’s a little early to claim the sky is falling.

The triple lock was very expensive – they’re still going to increase pensions by the higher of inflation or wage increases, which is probably not very different in practical terms.

Homes will not be confiscated, as all who need to pay for care will be able to defer the payments until they die. It won’t make a bit of difference to the elderly, it will just mean less for their kids to inherit (with a guaranteed £100k left in the pot). Doesn’t seem that unreasonable to me.

“Doesn’t seem that unreasonable to me.”

You are kidding of course. What about all the feckless idle bastards that have hardly done a day’s work in their miserable lives? That’s right, having not worked and thus having made no provision for their old age, they are looked after by the state yet again. Those who have worked hard, finally paid off their mortgages and put something by, get shafted by the govt every which way. if not in life, then definitely afterwards.

All it does is send a very clear message

Hide your money and whatever you can’t hide, spend it.

      It sucks

Agree with wait and see and also agree hide your money, don’t let the bstds have a penny they’re not owed.

Not my job to defend Mrs May, but she’s being quite smart in using her ‘guaranteed win’ position to start to eliminate some of the cynical (but expensive) voter-bribes issued to pensioners in the past – bus-passes and TV Licenses may follow.
Around 80% of pensioners vote, so such tactics can only be exercised with the confidence of a large majority – in contrast, only 40% of 18-24 year-olds vote, so Mr Corbyn is wasting his time pandering to them. Some will turn out for a noisy, fun demo, but then they can’t be arsed to vote. Even Dianne Abbott should be able to manage that maths.

Pensioners should be bribed … heavily. 🙂

James, either everyone should get the winter fuel allowance, or no one should get it. My view is that all these allowances; bus passes, free TV licence, free glasses etc; should be abolished and the markets allowed to do their job. Anecdotally, the immigrants are scamming the system big time; for example, in getting free glasses by lying about their employment status or having pet GPs who refer them to the likes of Specsavers so they don’t have to pay.

Government, to be effective and fair need do… nothing. Just do nothing whatsoever for 5 years. Increase budgets by inflation but do nothing else.

50% of it could go and no one would notice. It is notable that May is doing nothing about democracy, trougher salaries or referism. Of course, that would be asking too much.

I didn’t like dave’s version much but by God in comparison, dave’s soshul democrats were far right when compared to mother Shariza’s ‘mayists’ – should we call it Maoism: may-is-red?

If we ever do leave the Berlin slave satrapy, would it not be a good idea to cut away the useless fat and ffs, May is going very deliberately, exactly in the wrong direction, it’s more EU than EU…………………..dear God, what a big CON she is.

Who thinks that it is possible that the cost of means testing will be more than it saves?
